Idle Medical Centre
The proposed building was to replace the existing medical centre. The designís aim was to create a place which enables the visitors to feel at ease in a well organised space, creating an attractive internal environment with guarding and central atrium around which all the consulting rooms are set for ease of access.

The building creates a recognisable identity through two distinct forms, with the public areas located in the two storey rectangular building and the administration areas in the circular drum, with the main waiting area enjoying an elevated position looking over the hills.

This project is featured in a number of NHS documents, an example of progression in buildings for the NHS with positive experience and effect on the well being for the visitors.
